Ronald Jeff Sorrells, 12, of 681 Bristol Caverens Highway, Bristol, Tenn., died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, from injuries received in an automobile and pedestrian accident.
He was a 6th grade student at Holston Valley Middle School.
Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Glenda Sorrells, Bristol Tennessee; three half-sisters, April Shay Sorrells, Bristol Tennessee, Tonya Rene Crowe, Glendale, Ariz., and Mary Card, Tupelo, Miss.; paternal-grandmother, Nellie Johnson, Marietta, Ga.; maternal-grandmother, Juanita Gutay, Birmingham, Ala.; maternal step-grandfather, Frank Gutay, Birmingham, Ala., maternal grandfather, Henry Mullins, Jackson, Miss.; and maternal step-grandmother, Pat Mullins, Jackson. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.
Sorrells - Graveside services for Ronald Jeff Sorrells will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Shipley Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Branch officiating.
